Garden Furniture

Now with the onset of winter us Brits will generally turn our thoughts from garden furniture to indoor furniture thanks to the cold and unforgiving climate. Though this is not true for everywhere in November Asia can be sufficiently cooler so that many more people go out during the day thus seeing a demand in garden furniture.

Garden furniture has seen a giant leap forward, design wise, thanks to the many Asian designers who have worked in particular with rattan furniture. One example of the novel new garden furniture is that of the daybed created in part from the old French chaise lounge one assumes as this served as both a sofa and a bed during the day. It is only thanks to the genuine practical quality of rattan garden furniture which has made it such a hit here in the UK. Though one must remember it is the synthetic rattan I talk of not the genuine rattan which of course would barely last the first summer downpour.

Rattan offers a truly minimalist approach to furniture style and design as it can be as simple or as colourful as you chose it to be. It’s hard to find a material that’s quite so practical in the garden as well as the conservatory. By using some stylish cushions rattan furniture can look great in even the most sophisticated of settings such as a luxury hotel or bar. One of the major reasons rattan garden furniture has become so popular with Brits is the cost, with sofas at an astonishingly low price of £400 or less rattan is not only stylish and sophisticated but affordable too.
